  3. The following recent country changes have been made to the program:

  5. 1. The following countries have been added:

  7.       T9:  Bosnia-Hercegovina
  8.       E3:  Eritrea
  9.       S5:  Slovenia
  10.       9A:  Croatia
  11.  
  12.       4W is now the only prefix for Yemen (they had to give up 7O).
  13.       ZS0 is now reserved for the Penquin Islands.

  16. 2. The new USSR prefixes have been put into the program.  While some of
  17. the old callsigns are still being used, many of the new ones are starting
  18. to show up.  Here is a list of the new prefixes:

  35. UA0 and UA2 are still countries and have the same prefixes as Russia, but
  36. with 8, 9 or 0 (UA0) or 2 (UA2) as the number after the prefix.

  38. UA1N is a CQ and R-150 country.  It used to be shown as UN, but is now
  39. shown as UA1N.  This counts for UA if you are using ARRL countries.

  41. If you need to process the old prefixes, you can use the COUNTRY.ADD file
  42. to do this.  For example, you may want to put the following command in
  43. the COUNTRY.ADD file:

  45. UB* = UR
  46. RB* = UR
  47.  
  48. This will take any call starting with UB or RB and put them back in the
  49. Ukraine.  The COUNTRY.ADD file must reside in the directory \LOG\NAME.

  51. See section 6.5 in the manual for more information on how to use the
  52. COUNTRY.ADD feature.

  55. 3. The Yaesu radio interface is still in beta-test mode and is not fully
  56. functional.
  57.  
  58. 4. Update policy:
  59.  
  60.     - Within one year of your purchase, you will receive one free update.
  61.       This will usaually be a major update with new features.  You will
  62.       only receive the software.  To receive a new manual, send $10.
  63.  
  64.     - You can receive a software only update at any time for $10.  You
  65.       will be shipped the current version.  Again, the manual is another
  66.       $10, so anyone who has purchased any version of the program can update
  67.       to the currect version with manual for $20.  Add $5 to above prices for
  68.       international shipping.
